These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lit — the app, the website at litplanner.app, and any related services (together, "Lit"). By creating an account or using Lit, you agree to these Terms.
Lit is provided by Lit Planner ("we", "us", "our").
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lit. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you're using Lit on behalf of a business, you're agreeing to these Terms on that business's behalf.
Lit is a personal planning tool: tasks, capture, boards, an optional finance tracker, and goals. It is not financial, medical, tax, or legal advice. Any numbers you see in Finance come from what you enter — we don't verify, audit, or guarantee their accuracy.
You own everything you create in Lit — your tasks, notes, images, financial entries, and goals ("Your Content"). By using the app, you give us a limited license to store, sync, and display Your Content back to you, solely to provide the service. We don't use Your Content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
You're responsible for Your Content. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, harassing, or harmful to others.
Don't use Lit to:
The Lit name, logo, halo mark, and app design are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our branding beyond normal use of the app.
Lit is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lit, including loss of data or lost savings/financial decisions based on the Finance feature. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, certain consumer protections in the EU/EEA and UK).
You can stop using Lit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
We may update these Terms as Lit evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Lit after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law in your own country gives you additional rights that can't be waived (this matters especially for users in the EU/EEA and UK, where mandatory consumer protections apply regardless of this clause).
